Posh Elbow Swatters Guitar Player Elbow and Forearm Stretch Exercise

The Posh Elbow Swatters Guitar Player Elbow and Forearm Stretch is a great exercise to warm up, loosen, stretch and prepare the muscles in the forearms and the elbow joint.  Perform this exercise before practice to help reduce strain and pain in the elbows and forearms.  Move slowly and with purpose to ensure a good stretch and reduce the risk of injury.  You can download a free, printable .pdf for this exercise here: Posh-Elbow-Swatters-Guitar-Player-Arm-Exercise.pdf or right click and save the image below.

Post Elbow Swatters Guitar Player Warm Up Exercise

From a seated position, slowly bring the hands up infront of your face.  Keep your hands stretched out straight.

Then, slowly drop the hands down infront of you and curl the fingers in toward your body.  Keep your arm movement isolated at the elbow.

Repeat this exercise for a total of five times.
